Multicultural NSW exists to build and maintain a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all people in NSW. Our work is underpinned by the Multicultural NSW Act 2000, which establishes Multicultural NSW as the lead NSW Government agency for promoting the multicultural principles and resolving issues relating to cultural diversity.

**Your role**

In this role you will work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to oversee the implementation, contract management, monitoring and evaluation of various programs.

A key focus for this role is to oversee the implementation, contract management, monitoring and evaluation of the NSW Growing Regions of Welcome (NSW GROW) pilot program.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the role you will:

- Oversee the development of detailed project plans, budgets, monitoring and reporting on NSW GROW and other relevant project implementation and outcomes.
- Oversee the delivery of NSW GROW contractual obligations to agreed standards
- Facilitate consultations with relevant stakeholders and develop recommendations on proposals, project submissions, research and reports
- Identify issues of strategic significance and prepare high level advice for executives
- Assess and analyse critical complex issues related to inter governmental matters.
- Make decisions that are consistent with public sector and corporate policies, priorities and industrial frameworks.
- Maintain relationships at a senior level with internal stakeholder, across the public sector.

**What we’re looking for**
- Extensive experience in leading service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives or complex projects, preferably in partnership with diverse, cross-sectoral stakeholders Knowledge and understanding of the settlement service sector and/or settlement issues affecting newcomers from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
- Agile, resilient and committed to innovation and new approaches
