Melbourne, Australia Kaluza Full time

**Job Title: Programme Manager (multiple roles available)**

**Location: (including hybrid): Melbourne, Australia**

**Salary: $100,000 - $190,000**

Kaluza wants to power a world where net-zero is within everyone's reach, by building the platform that will accelerate a sustainable, affordable and resilient energy transition. It's a huge challenge, but often the toughest problems are the most rewarding to solve.

Since launching in 2019, Kaluza's technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.

From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement. And most importantly, they enable suppliers' customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.

Kaluza is currently in an exciting growth phase, undergoing the next phase of our international expansion in Melbourne to further reinforce our capabilities as a globally distributed energy platform.

This means that you would be one of the earliest Kaluza employees on the ground in Australia, working directly with our clients in the region.

We're in the early days of building our team and so in-office presence to us is important - working really closely with our clients to forge a strong working relationship. Our team currently works from our office in Melbourne CBD (Spencer St) 2-3 days per week.

Our goal is to build a self-sufficient and empowered team here on the ground in Australia. We're well on our way, but until we get there we still have some reliances on our UK team. Being comfortable working flexibly for a portion of your working week to cover time zones is required.

**Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?**

Kaluza's Programme Managers work in Client Delivery. They are at the heart of delivering maximum value to our clients by orchestrating our major implementation programmes and ongoing professional services projects. In this role, you'll facilitate work getting done across multiple organisations, have strong empathy skills, commercial nous and, of course, be extremely organised. You'll be able to draw on years of experience working with clients to deliver complicated projects that contribute to transformation through technology.

You'll be helping support initiatives which are delivering Kaluza's Energy Retail platform and Kaluza's Flexibility platform.

The **Energy Retail** platform is a SaaS technology platform that aims to revolutionise the operating platforms for energy retailers globally. This platform has been built with scale and technical quality in mind and is the foundation for decarbonisation efforts by Kaluza's customers.

Our **Flexibility platform** is to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future. Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy. This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling. We're also supporting this vital shift by building the innovative technology behind unique, market-leading customer propositions like Vehicle to Grid and Drive Anytime Energy Plan with our energy retailer partners.

**What will I be doing**

Programme Managers at Kaluza are responsible for the delivery of client-facing projects and programmes. The programme team ensures Kaluza meets our clients' strategic objectives by providing structure, momentum and alignment to the teams involved to achieve the desired outcome.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- End to end management of projects within the portfolio.
- Implementation and optimisation of the governance frameworks by which the change is delivered.
- Working with the team to ensure all necessary roles and responsibilities are defined and understood (e.g. RACI model)
- Owning the delivery plan and eliciting activities required from contributing teams.
- Ensuring all stakeholders are aware of progress, risks, blockers and keeping everyone focused on the objective(s).
- Agreeing activity across the plan is owned and there is a documented 'definition of done'.
- Providing regular progress updates to the business.
- Identifying and removing blockers through facilitation to enable earliest delivery of value.
- Managing dependencies between Kaluza and our clients and partners.

Kaluza is currently in an exciting growth phase, undergoing the next phase of our international expansion.. This will further reinforce our capabilities as a globally distributed energy platform and means that you would be one of the first Kaluza employees on the ground in Australia
