**Description**:
Recruitment and training of carers, scheduling and monitoring operational performance and performing nursing care to Client/Participants in accordance with an established plan of care in adherence with Right at Home policies and procedures and all other laws and relevant professional standards. The Care Manager (Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) will oversee the care and coordination of all allocated Client/Participant related activities within the Right At Home service ensuring that a high quality of consumer directed care is delivered to all Client/Participants within the statutory requirements.

This role is an executive position in the company, and you will sit on the Executive Management Committee. Care Management is a ‘mission critical’ responsibility for the delivery of care to the company’s Client/Participants. This includes the recruitment, training and quality control of carers and the related systems and processes.

In addition to Care Management this role will help develop relationships with hospitals, clinics, and care facilities with a view to delivering care services to meet the market.

**Qualifications**:

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist - Essential
- Relevant Health Science degree - Essential
- Relevant tertiary postgraduate qualification (Aged Care, Geriatric, Management) - Desirable
- Certificate in a specific nursing related discipline (Dementia care, geriatric nursing, palliative care) - Desirable
- Postgraduate studies in business, management, and/or finance - Desirable

**Preferred Skills**:

- Meets the competency levels for the Health Professional as identified in the applicable Professional guidelines, and particular organisational requirements.
- Fulfils the obligations of the Health Professional including Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct
- Delegates appropriately considering the scope of practice of the delegate.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and harmonious working relationships.
- Updates knowledge and skills by pursuing continuing professional development.
- Time management and Organisational skills.
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate Organisational and Client/Participant focused documentation and systems.
- Analytical and report writing skills.
- Ability to create and promote a positive and supportive culture where all staff are valued.
- Experience building teams.
- Ability to manage, direct and supervise staff, coordinating and assessing work activities.
- Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Computer literacy, specifically using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Database, Scheduling Programs and Xero (optional)
