For over 25 years AusIndustry continues to be a valuable hub, nurturing partnerships and networks, providing information and connections to help navigate the local, state and commonwealth government support to get the best for each business.

We connect business to the information, services and support they need to be innovative and competitive. Our data delivers timely and localised insights for government decision makers to enhance policy and program-related decisions.

The AusIndustry Business Outreach network section is the department’s front-line, face-to-face national service offering. AusIndustry provides a network of Regional Managers across the country who are connected to regions, communities and industries and is your local business connection.

Regional Managers provide impartial, trusted guidance tailored to local businesses. They take time to listen and understand the
business needs and identify government support mechanisms to enable growth opportunities. They nurture partnerships and
networks, provide connections, and help businesses navigate local, state and Commonwealth government.

AusIndustry is building its capability to better support First Nations businesses in accessing market opportunities through our Regional Managers. Our aim is to provide more opportunities, connections and networks across the economy. We want to do our part to shift the dial and improve economic opportunities for First Nations peoples and communities, creating a notable economic impact for the Australian economy.

As a Regional Manager you will undertake complex work under broad direction. You will play a major role in the face-to-face, front-line delivery of the department’s national service offering. This includes working directly with the people who create, build and run Australian businesses to help them grow and succeed. You will help to guide local businesses with the right advice, networks, opportunities and information about programs, grants and services available from all levels of government. You will travel extensively throughout your region of responsibility as a key representative of the department and the Australian
government.
