**Unit Overview**

The Transformation Directorate's purpose is to partner with the education community to drive insight, rigour and innovation in the way the Department delivers lifelong learning outcomes.

**About the role***

The purpose of the Change Portfolio function is to provide department-wide visibility and optimisation of change delivery into schools, ensuring changes are managed and communicated effectively to minimise disruption in schools. An initial focus of this role is to support the establishment of a data-driven and end-user focused Change Impact function, with the aim of supporting schools and other users through changes and improving implementation success to deliver lifelong learning outcomes.

- You are an adept communicator who enjoys partnering with other key stakeholders to implement all aspects of change initiatives

- You are dedicated to the development of strategies and tools to continuously improve processes.
- You understand the elements of change management and its impact as an essential component in the successful delivery of change projects both large and small.

**Essential requirements**
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of Public Education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
