- Assist the Director and Assistant Director, Compliance and Dispute Resolution to perform functions under the relevant legislation including the management and conduct of performance reviews, investigations, prosecutions and promote compliance.The Department of Justice supports reasonable adjustment requests in any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation in all aspects of employment for applicants with disability. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate complex investigations into compliance matters and prepare appropriate correspondence, reports and recommendations arising from investigations and enquiries.
- Play a leadership role within the branch coordinating the allocation of investigative work to team members, identifying priorities, developing operational plans and leading their implementation whilst mentoring others to achieve.
- Coordinate probity activities for licenses issued by the Office.
- Identify potential areas of non-compliance with legislation administered by the Office and participate in planning and leading compliance programs.
- Research and analyse enquiry and compliance databases to determine significant trends in market place activities and develop and implement proposals for compliance action to address these.
- Identify and report on alleged breaches of legislation administered by the Office.
- Prepare case files for prosecution as required.
- As required from time to time, perform other tasks relevant to the skills and experience of the position classification.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Current Tasmanian driver licence.
- Certificate IV Compliance or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Diploma of Fraud Control or equivalent relevant qualification.
