**About the role**

As a **Duty Manager, **you will control the day to day operations of all staff and fleet at location, including the coaching of counter employees to ensure that the Customer Service and Sales process is followed, the management of team members and the flow of vehicles in the car park and wash. This is a busy role that is critical to the operation

**What you’ll do**
- Ensure that vehicles for rent meet company standards for cleanliness, mechanical/body condition and roadworthiness
- Ensure that returned vehicles are checked for body damage and report where necessary
- Leading and managing the team on shift through sales coaching and mentoring
- Developing and fostering a harmonious team environment
- Participating in recruitment and selection of new staff
- Rostering and scheduling employees matching the needs of the business

**What we’re looking for**
- Demonstrated understanding & use of the Customer Service and Sales Process
- Experience in supervisory or leadership role with experience coaching employees
- Sales and Negotiation experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
- A Full Drivers’ license is required and the flexibility to work to a rotating roster
