As an ageing community, it is becoming increasingly difficult to care for the sick and frail at home. The newly developed site, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park will enable us to better care for and support our seniors and to keep them close within the community, near to their families, their people and their church.
- In this role you will provide exceptional daily care, supporting the needs of residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives. You’ll get to know your residents and their families very well and take pride in delivering exceptional personalised care according to their needs, to create a true sense of home.
- You are highly personable, empathic, organised, flexible, and passionate about delivering the highest level of care and service to Harris Park’s elderly residents.
- In these roles the tasks will vary, however you will be involved in supporting the everyday needs of our residents to live healthy, enriching and meaningful lives, promoting resident physical and emotional wellbeing.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or expect to be available for work in October 2023. Some experience you will require to be considered for these roles include:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (nursing students encouraged to apply) desired
- relevant experience in aged care
- demonstrated understanding of person-centred care
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- You will work together with your colleagues to create an environment where residents retain a level of activity and independence, and are able to participate in a variety of activities and events according to their own interests and wishes.
- Overall we are looking for staff that are highly personable, organised, flexible, and passionate about delivering the highest level of care and service to our elderly residents. You will also have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, report/document in line with requirements, ability to follow procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans.
