An opportunity exists for a leader to become the Manager Legislative Services within our Legal, Commercial and Assurance Services Directorate within People and Corporate Services.

This role is responsible for delivering a program of complex legislation through the Parliamentary process, collaborating with range of stakeholders, including industry advocacy group and a range of internal and external stakeholders and effectively leading and motivating a high performing legislative services team.

You will be provided with autonomy and genuine flexibility within a dynamic Directorate, which is focused on providing innovative solutions and customer-centred services.

**Qualifications and Experience**
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience is desirable.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Attendance may be required on Public Holidays and over the Christmas New Year period.
- Attendance at Parliament to assist the passage of legislation may be required.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel may be required.

**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 months with an option of extension or conversion to be considered.

**Remuneration**
MAS3 - $125,970 per annum
