Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.
The Spatial Analyst is part of the Planning Information Services Branch which is responsible for maintaining, reforming and developing information and spatial systems, and providing related services to support the work of the Planning Group.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Experience using ArcGIS is strongly preferred, experience using other GIS software may be considered
- Experience producing maps for both print and web presentation is preferred
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as GIS, Geography, or Urban Planning is desirable
- Experience working in government and/or producing maps or other communications for public consumption is desirable
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator and/or database software is an advantage
- Ability to present maps/graphical information clearly, accurately, and attractively.
- Experience in design elements including layouts, symbology, and colour for communicating information would be well regarded
**This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne.**
