About the role

We are cloud native, (GCP), API first and using the latest platforms and technology, to better support our customers’ financial wellbeing

You’ll partner with high performing, self-organising teams of ingenious engineers who bring global experience and ideas. These engineers focus on delivering the supporting platforms for customers to safely and securely access their ANZ Plus Accounts and third
- party services. We release daily, the pace is fast and the tech is cutting edge.

What will your day look like
Enable the Value Stream to see and manage risk in a consistent and systematic way
Partner with the Value Stream Lead, Product Owners, Engineering LT and your monitoring, automation and control colleagues in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues.
Complex and interesting conversations around trade-offs, balancing risk and with business objectives.
Develop a strong understanding of needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built in up front, at times during discovery phase
Facilitate effective governance of key risk elements across ANZx to empower teams to self-check and remediate if needed
Test, learn, utilise data and feedback to continually improve our risk profile
What will you bring?

Security architecture or extensive security ops background, in a regulated environment is helpful
Deep tech understanding, you know how manage risk from cloud based platform, CI/ CD pipelines (we use tools like Git Hub and Harness for deployment)
Broad knowledge of ISO, NIST and cyber security related frameworks
Tech vendor management processes, (what good looks like, due diligence, processing legal terms and what that means for risk)
Partnering and enabling approach, you’ll work closely with engineers and leadership teams to enable them to work faster and better.
Down to earth and self aware, you’re keen to work in a team where there are no egos, just great people doing amazing work
