**Your new role**:
In your new role, as the Data and Document Controller you will contribute to the Configuration Management (CM) practises for the project in accordance with the company processes, the project Configuration Management Plan (CMP).

**Key responsibilities will be**:

- Be responsible for the registration, storage, retrieval, updating and issuing of project information using the nominated records management system(s) for the project.
- Ensuring that data and documentation related to a Product is captured in the records management system and that the approval status of the data and documentation is correct
- Managing all affected data / metadata ensuring it is accurate, current and complete
- Assisting/managing Level 1 Support to Company and Defence Datasets and accesses
- Processing documentation and data in the records management system has the proper organisation and categorisations
- Ensuring that approved documentation, including engineering drawings, is linked in the CM system to the correct part in the Product Breakdown Structure
- Providing support with efficient, high quality scanning, printing and/or plotting of documentation as required
- Maintaining of document registers
- Assisting in identifying and resolving CM problems, and particularly any related to Data & Documentation Control Communicating effectively within the CM team raising issues to relevant stakeholders in an objective, professional and timely manner
- Demonstrated data management experience
- Previous experience using and controlling databases such as CMTU and Jira
- The ability to prioritise and manage personal activities to meet schedules
- Self-motivated and works effectively under mínimal supervision
- Strong Stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong communication skills
- NV1 clearance required

**Clearances**:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
