**Exciting Opportunity for a Technical Consultant**

Join our esteemed Government client's Service Delivery Transformation (SDT) Program in Brisbane for a stimulating 4-month opportunity, view to extend another 6 months

**About the Role**: As a Technical Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in the analysis and oversight of various program scope items, including the integration of a Finance sub-ledger function, meeting security requirements, implementing a Reporting solution, and providing general technical and architectural assistance across multiple activities. This position reports to the Program Solution Architect and involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the ICTS Solution Architect, Technical/Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other team members.

**About the Department**: Our client, operates within the realm of workplace health and safety, electrical safety, workers' compensation, and industrial relations. Comprising several divisions, they are committed to partnering with businesses to enhance safety and industrial relations outcomes, providing responsive services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

**About the Business Unit**: The Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS) unit is responsible for providing technology services and support. Currently, ICTS is executing the SDT Program to enhance service delivery through innovative technology solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead complex solution architecture activities
- Ensure alignment with the Queensland Government's Enterprise Architecture framework
- Provide expert advice on transitioning to new platforms
- Maintain alignment with ICTS operational requirements
- Represent OIR's interests in solution design and delivery

**Desirable Skills and Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)
- Experience with modeling languages such as ArchiMate and UML
- Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Expertise in financial systems, particularly sub-ledger payment systems

**Work Arrangements**:

- Location: Brisbane QLD
- Work Balance: Office and remote work
- Duration: Immediate start until June 30, 2024, with a possibility of extension
- Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
