**Job overview**:
Based out of Ballarat, Victoria, as a Verification Officer, your primary responsibility will be to work within our organisational system to verify applicant documentation to ensure their compliance with various requirements. While our customers are our top priority, and we strive to ensure they are always satisfied with our services, they rely on us to provide bullet-proof verification and compliance checks for their applicants. You will be on the front line, delivering the service and ensuring the quality of checks.

**Key responsibilities**:
- Reviewing the documentation provided by applicants, ensuring it matches the compliance requirements for each check.
- Following up with applicants to ensure timely completion of checks.
- Supporting applicants through the process of verification. This may include calling applicants and guiding them through the process.
- Escalating complex cases to your team members and customers.
- Ensuring a high level of customer trust and satisfaction by providing top-notch customer service.
- Solving problems efficiently and effectively, ensuring mínimal disruption to the customer's operations.
- Supporting issue resolution in a timely manner and escalating issues when necessary.
- Building comprehensive individual profiles from sometimes disparate pieces of information.
- Assist our operations team with various tasks.
