Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Commissioning Manager to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG), based in Perth.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. - providing the best solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges
- Maintain a No Harm culture among Hatch commissioning teams, ensuring commissioning and project activities are undertaken to Hatch and all statutory HSEC requirements
- Lead project Commissioning Team(s) in Hatch offices during planning and on client site during execution. This responsibility includes supporting recruitment, mobilisation, training, supervision and de-mobilisation of personnel including vendors and technical specialists
- Manage interfaces with the client owners team as well as other project functions and areas in particular the construction and operations managers and their respective teams
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure the optimal commissioning schedule is achieved. This includes ensuring testing requirements are included in the design (for example bypass lines, temporary power and water, module isolation valves) and where possible construction programs are aligned with the optimal commissioning sequence
- Be responsible for the quality assurance and control of all project commissioning deliverables and activities on a project
- From time to time, assist the Hatch leadership develop client relationships and undertake business development activities including but not limited responding to request for proposals or tenders
- Early identification of commissioning resource requirements and assisting Hatch train, develop and recruit high quality commissioning personnel

**You bring to the role**:

- High level of attention to the Heath and wellbeing of Hatch team members and other project participants
- High level management, influential and communication skills
- Knowledge, skills and ability to manage a diverse group of technical, project and operating personnel
- Significant technical background in energy, mining and / or mineral processing
- Good knowledge of project completion and commissioning management
- Commissioning Managers with complex pyro met or hydro met process plant experience are encouraged to apply
- Prior brownfield projects delivery and shutdown management experience
