The Parliamentary Service is restructuring and modernising its HR capability by creating a new People and Culture (P&C) team. The P&C unit has been recently established as a stand-alone team and is entering a phase of enhanced organisational recognition and contribution to strategic and operational outcomes, underpinned by improved processes and enhanced customer engagement practices.
The P&C unit lies within the division for Corporate and Electorate Services and works closely with the Payroll Services team and Finance and Administrative Services teams, also with that division.
As the P&C Support Officer you will report directly to the Manager, P&C. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- providing administrative, coordination and customer engagement support relating to a range of people and culture services that is consistent with a high quality, customer-focused delivery model;
- providing first level support to customers, assist with modernising information management and procedural practices (ie. intranet content, other employee information collection, automation and digitisation) and will assist with drafting of documentation and communications.

The occupant of the position will be involved in a variety of activities including:

- recruitment and selection
- on-boarding and induction
- training
- preparing employment related documentation
- preparing employee information resources
- workcover claims and rehabilitation processes
