Marketing Activation Manager

**About the role**:
The Marketing Activation Manager -Consumer Beauty provides direct support to the Head of Merchandising Consumer Beauty & Prestige ANZ. In this diverse role you will manage the planograms via space planning system, POS creative development, production, print management, visual merchandising, and temporary execution for your assigned brands. The role sits within our Consumer Beauty merchandising team and works across brands such as Rimmel London, Max Factor, Sally Hansen, Covergirl and Fragrance.
The role requires strong pro-active, multi-project management skills, keen eye for detail, and natural creative flair - a winning combination to ensure excellence in execution. Both numerical and aesthetical skills are required to be able to manage and oversee projects on time & within budget; driving consistent quality whilst adhering to time sensitive critical paths. This is a fast-paced role, requires attention to detail, agility and most importantly, unwavering team spirit.
Reporting into the Head of Merchandising, and having three direct reports, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
**Your role**:
Approximately 60% of time will be spent working on Rimmel, our largest brand within our Consumer Beauty Portfolio.
Lead, manage and support the Marketing Activation Executives, providing the team with guidance, direction and assisting with their development.
Develop and implement the POS strategy with key stakeholders by retailer for Consumer Beauty Brands.
Manage creative development of temporary POS displays, including briefing, supplier quotes, prototypes, PO management, distribution of POS and quality control in line with local and global brand guidelines.
Conduct review approvals in collaboration with the internal teams, acting as a conduit between the Sales and Brand departments.
Manage and liaise with creative agencies, graphic designers and manufacturing suppliers ensuring quality service and cost control. The role involves travelling at times to supplier head office.
Work on Planogram management, via space planning software, and manage new product development (NPD) and deletions across cosmetic wall units.
Complete ROI analysis to assist in the implementation of effective planograms, and proactively identify retail point of sale solutions to enhance the consumer experience.
Conduct regular merchandising trials in store across Sydney to ensure production items & Planogram meet expectation; are in line with the brief requirements to our 3rd Party Merchandising field force.
Forecast and manage the Marketing Activations budgets and ensure all POS and permanent in-store materials are executed on time and within financial plans. This role is responsible for overall allocated CB budget lines for all brands.
Act as the Lead facilitator for all POS between sales and brand teams. Proactive in communicating and presenting merchandise plans, leading regular meetings, presentations, and following through to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
Share post campaign analysis and presentations to local and global teams.
Raise & maintain purchase orders within SAP/Ariba, including invoicing.
Step in and provide solutions during any team members leave, and/or delegate accordingly.
Manage multiple projects at one time across various retail partners and manage any additional ad hoc projects that may be delegated by the Merchandising Manager.
**You will have**:
Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred however not essential.
Experience within Retail Point-of-Sale, FMCG or Visual Merchandising environment is imperative.
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with an enthusiasm for and exposure to Marketing/Retail Activation, Shopper Marketing, or Project Management.
Experience managing a direct report.
Time management, organisational skills; analytical skills to understand data and develop course of action.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to help build meaningful relationships.
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal.
High motivation, energy, drive, passion, and ability to work well within a team environment.
Results oriented mindset with the ability to be flexible and resilience to overcome challenges.
