**Main Responsibilities**:
**Implement the strategic plan to achieve business outcomes and support the continuous improvement of the organisation’s performance.**
- Take a lead role in implementing the key deliverables identified in the Strategic Plan
- Oversee the development of new initiatives and projects within the specified region
- Monitor and review key deliverables and KPIs
- Lead organisational activities that contribute to improved service provision, staff and consumer satisfaction.
- Oversee delivery against relevant service agreements and funding obligations, and manage and maintain relationships with funding bodies and key stakeholders

**Improve and maintain quality of service delivery**
- Ensure operational and service standards are in place that reflects the evidence-based practice and contemporary best practice principles
- Ensure that all government legislation and the organisation’s policies and procedures are implemented effectively, including NDIS standards and regulations
- Establish a culture of continuous evaluation and service improvement, including articulating Quality Standards and implementing efficient practice across programs operationally.

**Provide leadership, support and direction to the staff and develop employee capability in a supportive, safe and collaborative environment.**
- Support the Service Managers/Service Leaders with the people management of Stride programs, including recruitment, induction, rewarding and recognizing good performance, team building, professional development and overall performance management of staff
- Coach and mentor direct reports and provide role clarity to support individuals and teams to deliver outcomes and meet targets
- Manage staff safety, injury management and incident reporting
- Ensure services and staff are adequately resourced to perform their roles.

**Ensure Services meet their service governance, safety and compliance obligations including timely and accurate reporting to Board subcommittees, funding and regulatory bodies.**
- Maintain adherence to relevant laws and regulations and ensure the safety and risk frameworks are implemented and maintained throughout the region.
- Ensure funding arrangements and organisational obligations are adhered to
- Monitor and deliver reporting obligations to internal and external funders and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory policies and procedures
- Identify, report, review and mitigate WHS and clinical risks
- Be responsible for timely reporting of Reportable Incidents to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as applicable

**With the support of the National Manager Finance, ensure sound financial management practices and Stride procedures are adhered to**
- In conjunction with Finance and Interim General Manager Services, develop annual budgets, monitor and implement strategies to mitigate any variances to ensure that programs operate within budget
- Support the Service Managers/Service Leaders to ensure adherence to the budget and the organisation’s procurement and delegation authorities

**Support the organisation to grow and diversify programs available to Stride through the identification of additional sources of funding and revenue that align with the organisation’s strategic goals.**
- Identify and develop appropriate strategic alliances to grow the business and continually enhance networks with funding bodies
- Build upon opportunities for program development and expansion
- Seek opportunities on potential additional sources of funding and revenue
- Monitor service targets and KPIs for revenue and client outcomes

**Key Accountabilities/Success Indicators**
- Leadership - Providing functional direction and achieving results through others, influencing key program and service decisions and performance against targets
- Conceptual Thinking - Identifying and steering opportunities for organisational improvement
- Change Management - Leads change and implementation of program improvements and new initiatives both locally and throughout the organisation.
