**Position Information**:
Vincentia High School is a vibrant co-educational, comprehensive; community school located in Jervis Bay on the South Coast of New South Wales. The student population of around 1000 is stable with 16% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school has a FOEI of 122. Our vision is for all students to graduate with the knowledge and skills to achieve personal success in their future pathways. Vincentia High School prides itself on delivering a comprehensive innovative curriculum that actively engages all students through challenging learning experiences. We prioritise inclusivity and students are supported by a range of cultural and well-being programs including Clontarf. Personalised programs for students with a range of disabilities can be accessed through Mudjingaal, Gumbari and regular classes. Vincentia High School is an important member of the Bay and Basin Learning Community serving the educational needs of students from our local primary schools of Vincentia, Huskisson, Tomerong, St Georges Basin, Sanctuary Point, Sussex Inlet and Jervis Bay. We have forged strong partnerships with all our partner primary schools and the local business community. Proudly situated on the lands of the Wadi Wadi and Wandean people, we walk together with our local Bay and Basin community to support and build our future leaders.

1. Demonstrated capability in leading continuous school-wide improvement in school teams, informed by quality data, evidence and evaluative practice.

2. Proven instructional leadership skills and experiences to build teacher capacity with a focus on student outcomes and curriculum reform

3. Proven ability to collaboratively lead an inclusive, engaging and supportive school-wide culture to promote high aspirations and expectations across students, staff and the community.

4 Proven ability to proactively manage complex daily operations, systems and procedures, to create and sustain positive learning environments.

5 Capacity to develop strong relational trust that enables professional growth and well-being culture to flourish

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
