**About The Office of Responsible Gambling**
The Office of Responsible Gambling leads programs and initiatives to prevent and reduce gambling harm in the NSW community and provides public policy advice to the NSW Government.
The Office supports the Responsible Gambling Fund Trustees to provide advice and guidance to the Minister on funding responsible gambling initiatives consistent with the strategic direction, objectives and relevant governance arrangements.
Program areas include research, community education and awareness, intervention, support and treatment services and public policy development.
**About the role**
As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative and support services ensuring the smooth operation of the team. This role includes managing routine correspondence, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial transactions within agency guidelines.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Perform a range of administrative and support services, including records management, meeting and event coordination, and routine correspondence.
- Collect and compile information to prepare documentation and correspondence that supports decision-making and aligns with quality and organisational requirements.
- Handle routine financial transactions, purchasing services, and procurement tasks in compliance with agency standards and procedures.
- Respond to and escalate enquiries, ensuring the provision of accurate information to internal and external stakeholders, and redirect issues as necessary.
- Update and maintain records and databases, ensuring that all information is accurate, stored correctly, and easily accessible in line with administrative systems and processes.
- Support the team in meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities, and maintaining accuracy in a high-volume work environment.

- Experience providing administrative support in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Natural ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional skills in balancing competing priorities to meet both customer and business needs.
- Strong communication skills, paired with the ability to work closely with managers to escalate issues and provide timely updates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using technology to increase efficiency.
- Demonstrated motivation, adaptability, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
