This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policy documents outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

**About the Role**

The Identity Platform Lead will act as the platform architect & service owner and is responsible for the plan, build run and govern of Transgrid’s Identity platform and all supported services, with a view to establish an Identity team to continue to deliver on Trangrid’s cloud strategy in subsequent years.

The role standardises services, drives continual service improvement, drives value from platform, provides strategic coordination as well as tactical governance.

The role involves designing solutions in line with the organisation’s strategic goals and technology roadmap working collaboratively with the other domains across Technology.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead the transition to a consolidated and modern identity platform for all Transgrid services.
- Defining and driving key opportunities for continual service improvement across service portfolio.
- Platform Architect for Identity and Access Management.
- Support, manage and maintain the platform including updates, incidents, and fulfillment of move, add and change requests.
- Champion the usage of the platform across the business driving uplift it literacy across the organisation.
- Lead the optimisation and automation of services for this platform via a backlog driven by business ideas and demand.
- Build and manage a small team of people to deliver value in sprints.

**What we need from you**:

- Experience with providing technical leadership across large enterprises.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and management of cloud services, specifically Identity Services (Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, AD Certificate Authorities, SailPoint IGA, MFA, Azure B2B and B2C).
- Demonstrated experience working in large complex technology environments.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, jSON, Microsoft Graph etc.).
- Experience with security (Conditional Access, MFA, secure score, compliance defender for cloud, SSL, VPN).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical staff.
