**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Regional Work Health and Safety (WHS) Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction of the WHS function within a Region to ensure implementation and monitoring of the ONE TAFE WHS management system.

We have two Permanent Full-Time opportunities available:

- Regional Work Health and Safety Manager - Sydney & Corporate Region
- Regional Work Health and Safety Manager - Western Sydney Region

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have exceptional communication skills to develop and articulate the implementation of WHS initiatives, have the confidence and ability to drive the “Zero Harm Culture” with an active involvement in undertaking risk assessments & incident investigations, and championing cultural change.

You will have the ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders and colleagues with diverse interests and your proactive and professional approach will allow you to take control of emotionally charged or sensitive situations and put actions in place. Paramount to your success will be your drive to ensure stakeholders and staff across the region are kept fully informed of and understand their WHS accountabilities.

You will have the capability to lead a small team, and the ability to translate strategy into practical actions. ICAM Training or similar is highly desirable.

You must have a minimum Class C driver’s licence with the capacity to travel for TAFE NSW business purposes as required.
