As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will join the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Security & Fraud team to develop internal tooling used to help secure the BFS technology environment. You will take end-to-end ownership of your product in a modern DevOps culture. You'll be responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and operations and deliver incrementally in iterative cycles. You will have an Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies.

To be successful in this role you are or will need to have:

- Strong programming and problem-solving skills with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience in working with a team of engineers working in an Agile and DevOps environment
- Experience working in cloud computing environments (AWS & GCP preferred)
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket and other version control systems
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Test-Driven Development (e.g., Jest)
- Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated and able to self-manage work
- Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving ability

It Would Be a Great Advantage If You Also Have:

- Exposure to the Cybersecurity domain
- Exposure to NIST OSCAL
- Experience with federated authentication (eg OAuth, OIDC)
- Experience with cloud and DevOps technologies on AWS and/or GCP
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools, in particular using the Atlassian products Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, and Jira
- Experience in using Linux and Windows terminals (e.g., bash and PowerShell)
- Experience in writing automation tests (e.g., Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing, UI Testing)
