Talison Lithium aims to maximise local employment where possible by recruiting people who live in and around

**About the Role**

data analysis to assist with optimisation of lithium processing plants.

**Responsibilities include**:

- leverage your critical thinking, mineral processing experience, process modelling and data mining techniques

to identify improvement opportunities and assume an advisory role to the processing team;
- conduct thorough investigations into plant performance issues and support the processing team in

implementation of sustainable solutions;
- analyse and interpret production metallurgy data and provide technical guidance in response to production

deviations;
- evaluate process impact and financial value of the improvement initiatives you recommend, before and after

implementation;
- implement change management techniques to ensure the implemented initiatives become part of the

processing team’s culture; and
- presentation of recommendations and results to stakeholders.
- strong safety focus;
- ability to work closely with contractors and other team members;
- a degree in a relevant discipline such as: Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A Masters

or PhD will be highly regarded;
- ability to work independently and as part of a multi-functional team;
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- 2-3 years’ experience in a mineral processing environment with experience in lithium mining well regarded;
- highly engaged, collaborative and committed to building mutually beneficial relationships across functional

teams;
- proficiency in mineral processing simulation packages;
- knowledge of theory of constraint and six sigma methodologies;
- proficiency with programming languages with ability in R Analytics and Python for data analysis. Training will

be provided if required; and
- proficiency in developing dashboards highly desirable.
