**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer, you will provide support with metallurgical test work, sampling & analysis and ensure Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) compliance to D5, DMIRS and global tailings standards are maintained.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Foster a culture of zero harm and embrace “RTIO Our Behaviours”
- Conduct daily inspections of WFSF facility, pipeline and associated infrastructure
- Execute spigot and valve rotations as per deposition plans
- Manage various pump and pipe systems (decant, underdrainage, seepage) to ensure system integrity and operability including managing the refuelling schedule
- Liaise directly with the Responsible Dams Engineer to ensure WFSF is operating to design intent, including deposition planning and management, safety inspections and maintenance
- Opportunities to develop waste fines skills through formalised training
- Execute daily sampling and sample analysis as per metallurgical testwork regime
- Conduct cyclone spigot wear inspections
- Perform screening facility inventory management
- Assist process engineers/metallurgists with downtime data validation and reporting

**About you**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Understanding of unit operations of mineral processing equipment
- Prior experience in a similar role or in a laboratory environment will be highly regarded
- A manual C Class drivers licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivation and ability to be self-driven and work autonomously
