**Business Development Specialist**

**What you will enjoy doing**
- You identify, develop, and commercialize growth opportunities with competitor customer accounts and new business prospects, particularly in the gas and welding equipment business whilst working with local and trade allies within the local community and industry
- Your lead generation and opportunity pipeline management, is second to none
- Whilst leading and promoting customer-centric focus and innovation in products & service, you sign new customers to supply and service agreements
- Furthermore, you capture competitor activities and market trends within your region and create opportunities for win-win interactions that add value for your potential customers and BOC
- Your delivery of customer training and product demonstrations positions you to offer new and alternative options
**What makes you great**
- Bringing strong selling and business development skills including customer negotiation
- You possess thorough knowledge of price and contract management
- For this role you have more than three years plus experience in growing accounts, lead generation and conversion
- Your excellent time management skills afford a result focused approach - takes initiative
- In addition, you are a natural negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Although not essential, welding, fabrication, or similar trade experience would be highly regarded
- Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook) are required
- Current Driver’s License is essential
