**About the role**

The Program Manager role has been created to provide leadership, practice lead and support to Team Leaders and Family Service Practitioners. This position will also ensure Cultural rights and needs of families are prioritised and embedded within practice.

This position will provide regular professional supervision and appropriate development and training opportunities to enhance their capacity to provide a quality service.

**About You**
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience pertaining to the community services sector, and ability to innovate, demonstrate initiative, and build capacity, while observing cultural sensitivity
- Experience in leadership and management, program implementation, service planning including monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of standards
- Proven ability to supervise, manage and support staff to build a competent team of professionals to work with and address the individual and specific needs of Aboriginal families
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or community services which meet the criteria for membership with the relevant professional body, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the child, youth and families’ sector in a leadership capacity
- **Requirement**: Current COVID-19 vaccination (Including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a valid Victorian Driver's License
