**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a Solicitor / Associate who will work together with a team of 18 and will focus on working with a range of legal matters with the Partner, senior associates and solicitors.

Your role is crucial and under the mentorship of the team, you will gain experience and knowledge on many areas of law.

You will get:

**You shall have the following qualifications and skills**:

- 1 - 5 years PQE: 1 - 5 years post qualification experience in a reputable practice with multiple areas of the following practice areas: Dispute Resolution and Litigation, Family Law and/or Criminal Law and experience in Commercial Law is also highly regarded;
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, experienced in being accurate, precise, detailed and producing error-free work;
- Motivated and Efficient: Your role depends on the meeting of KPIs and you will receive bonus and promotions based on this. You must be motivated and efficient and meet monthly KPIs;
- Organisation and Time Management: Excellent organisation skills and time management skills;
- Relationship: Excellent relationship management skills and able to build long-lasting and strong relationships with staff and clients;
- Technology: Proficient and fast in using technology including Microsoft office apps, PDF apps and legal management software;
- Diligence: We work hard and play hard. We are a tightly knit team that is passionate on creating an amazing future in the legal industry. You must want the same and be diligent towards doing your role to make this happen;

- File Handling: You must have the ability to run, take ownership and maintain 30 active files in a range of different practice areas with varying complexity (varying from Supreme Court matters and appellate matters to day-to-day transactional matters), multi-task, meet multiple deadlines, be a self-starter and fast-learner with proven ability to learn on the job.
- Autonomously having the carriage of legal files and work on a diverse range of legal matters;
- Managing and advising clients;
- Delegate, supervise and managing file administration, file management and organisation and invoicing;
- Fulfil all timeframes required on legal files;
- Providing support to our team to achieve our goals and your KPIs; and
