UGL Regional Linx are looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Works Planning Manager to join our team.

**Job Purpose**

This role will oversee the planning and rostering management of blue collar staff and plant resources to ensure the effective delivery of works programs. The Works Planning Manager will provide effective leadership and sustainable working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to contribute to site safety, quality and environment controls and risk management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordination, collaboration and reporting on current and planned resource requirements for blue collar and plant resources.
- Collaboration with all UGLRL project teams to determine blue collar and plant resource requirements to generate forward looking resource management forecasts.
- Leading and coordinating the development of rostering.
- Ensuring competencies are maintained within the RIW Competency management portal
- Oversee the Training and Competency requirements of blue-collar workers to ensure internal resource is able the meet current and future UGLRL business requirements.
- Monitor labour and plant resourcing to ensure the project has the capability to achieve targets, and foster a high-performance team within a positive employee relations environment
- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.
- Manage industrial relations issues and implications and develop appropriate resolution.
- Conduct thorough performance management evaluation for direct reports as defined by the UGLRL Performance Management Development System.
- Manage administrative duties for direct report requirements
- Adhere to Project Delivery Manual Framework
- Perform all duties in accordance with UGLRL policies, processes, systems and procedures

**Qualifications**
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or project management discipline
- Current Class C (Minimum) Driving Licence
- Extensive experience in the planning, delivering and rostering of Blue Collar labour in a construction and operational environment.
- 2- 5 years previous construction experience in a similar role
