Hudson are working with a Brisbane based organization, seeking an accomplished IT Security Operations and Identity Specialist to oversee and manage security operations, along with identity management services within an outsourced IT environment, managing relationships with outsourced teams and ensuring compliance among stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with IT support partners to address security vulnerabilities identified through scans and pentests.
- Enhance the security posture by implementing industry best practices, including aligning with the Essential 8 and SWIFT Security Controls.
- Assist in the delivery of cybersecurity initiatives and cyber awareness programs.
- Support change management processes to ensure appropriate implementation of IT security changes.
- Oversight of Identity and Access Management
- Development and upkeep of documentation outlining processes and procedures.

**Technical**
- Strong understanding of information security and identity management.
- Proficient in Azure / M365 (additional expertise in other public cloud platforms considered.
- Skillful in investigating and resolving security issues, utilizing tools like Sentinel, Powershell, Defender and related security tools.
- Capable of overseeing vendors to ensure they meet defined outcomes and deliverables.
- Preferred - Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (Okta, Sailpoint or similar
- Preferred - Hold industry recognized security certifications (Example AZ-500, SC-100, SC-900, CEH, CISSP etc)

**About you**
- Deliver high quality work, demonstrating the capacity to take ownership and be accountable for individual actions.
- Enhance team performance through active participation.
- Collaborate efficiently with external vendors to achieve the organizations intended results.
- Adaptable approach with strong attention to detail.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated results
