**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about science and education? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Assistant/Trainee to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students.

The Laboratory Assistant/Trainee is accountable to the laboratory and STEM Manager for contributing to the effective and efficient operations of the science laboratories by providing a range of laboratory and administrative tasks which contributes to improved educational outcomes for students.

- A proven track record of effective teamwork, adept at prioritizing workloads and achieving outcomes within agreed timelines.
- An interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) fields, driving your commitment to educational excellence.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
**Trainee**: $15,337 - $39,674 per annum.
