**The role**:
We have a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Supervisor for our XRF department at our Sorbonne Cresent facility in Canning Vale. You will be excited by the challenges of our business and the variety this role offers ensuring both short term and long term objectives are met.

The purpose of the Laboratory Supervisor role is to ensure that a safe environment is provided for your team to produce quality sample results, meet high performance targets and report to key stakeholders in a timely fashion.

Some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:

- Provide a clean and safe working environment for staff to safely work and develop in the department following all QHSE procedures and policies
- Monitoring performance, development and performance manage employees where required
- Maximise equipment efficiencies, ensuring equipment is regularly Maintained, Calibrated and Repaired in a timely manner

**What’s needed?**

To be successful in this position you will have:

- Experience working in a similar leadership role
- Experience working in Geo-analytical Laboratories
- Good understanding of sample testing operations and maintenance is required
- Experience in Sample Analysis and Quality Control would be highly regarded
- Understanding of XRF and robotic processes is highly desirable
- Proficient computer software literacy
- Excellent organisational, teamwork, problem solving and communication skills
