**Your new role**

We are seeking to appoint an Education and Awareness Coordinator to join the Research Office at Curtin. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Security Officer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering education and awareness campaigns and relevant training materials which will assist with the university’s Foreign Risk Management advice.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Educating staff and students on foreign risk awareness, which will encompass reporting requirements.
- Providing support to the Deputy Chief Security Officer with mitigating the University from major risks.
- Creating and launching an education and awareness program which involves developing materials, presentations, web content and tools.
- Collaborating with university stakeholders to undertake training needs analysis and addressing any knowledge gaps.
- Constantly monitoring the success of the program and implementing improvements to the program.

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant experience; and or a degree in communication and engagement or training and development.
- Experience with developing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating education and awareness programs.
- The ability to lead the planning and delivery of events.
- The ability to design engaging and customised learning material.
- Experience with managing digital communication channels and web content.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to generate clear and concise reports and communication materials.
- Ability to travel intestate and or overseas may be required.
