u&u Recruitment Partners is excited to partner with Container Exchange (COEX) to recruit the newly created role - Executive General Manager - Customer Acquisition & Growth.

About the role

The Executive General Manager Customer Acquisition & Growth will lead a dedicated team focused on driving COEX's scheme volume growth by focusing on the acquisition, on-boarding and growth of targeted customers and channels including out of home consumption, schools, multi-unit dwellings and councils.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:
Proactively building a high-performance culture in line with COEX's values;
Developing and implementing innovative, customer acquisition and growth strategies and a clear value proposition to drive scheme participation and target high-growth opportunities across key commercial segments and regions;
Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure product and operational solutions meet the needs of the market;
Overseeing the identification, negotiation and execution of new customer agreements to ensure a seamless customer experience;
Developing and maintaining key strategic partnerships to enhance the company's market presence and competitiveness; and

Reviewing and analysing data to identify new and emerging container collection markets.

**To be considered for this role, you will have**:
10+ years of senior sales and business development experience, with at least five years in a senior leadership capacity;
A "hands on" leadership style with proven experience building and leading a high performing, engaged team;
High level of business acumen with exceptional commercial skills;
Demonstrated experience developing customer acquisition and growth strategies across a broad range of industry sectors and channels;
Strong influencing and customer service skills with the ability to work with a range of cross functional leaders;
Well-developed strategic thinking, commercial and problem-solving skills;
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and

Degree qualifications in marketing (or a related area) would be an advantage.
