Full time temporary contract Finance Services Assistant role based in the Hobart CBD

Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Health Sector, the largest department of all Tasmanian Government agencies.

**Your new role**

You will provide finance and clerical assistance to a busy division for a 3-month period. Your core duties will be providing general support to the Accounts Receivable team will include duties such as:

- Accurate data entry
- Processing invoices for clients
- Maintain financial records in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
- Raise and receipt Accounts Receivable transactions in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
- Check the accuracy of information during data capture, identify discrepancies and correct charges, calculations and codes

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful, you:

- Will be able to demonstrate the ability to undertake clerical, administrative and financial tasks, utilising financial management information systems and MS Office software
- Have the ability to process high volume data with accuracy to detail
- Have knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures, including financial regulations, legislations and policies
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent time management skills,
- Be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure.
- FinanceONE / Tech One experience desirable.
