At Bunnings, you’ll make a positive difference to our business and beyond.

Bunnings is the leading retailer of home improvement and lifestyle products in Australia and New Zealand and a major supplier to project builders, commercial tradespeople and the housing industry. Operating from a network of stores, trade centres, frame and truss sites, and online, Bunnings caters for consumer and commercial customers.

By joining our passionate and diverse team, you will have the opportunity to grow, develop, have fun and make a positive difference - to our customers and the communities where we live and work.

About the role

Reporting to the National Inbound Transport Manager as a Transport Coordinator, you will work across the customer service team to ensure Bunnings Transport provides a high level of customer service for both internal and external suppliers using our crossdock solution and support the wider transport team by implementing process and IT system improvements.

This is a 10 month parental leave contract role, based out of our Melbourne support office, with a hybrid working environment.

- Resolve issues in a timely manner at cross dock by working with key providers and members of the transport and logistics team
- Be involved in projects to track progress and maintain project documentation with projects plans, risks, actions, issues, decision logs and change controls
- Review and develop system, reporting and process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity

Who we’re looking for

You’ll bring demonstrated experience in customer service management, ideally from within transport. You will have well developed communication skills and the ability to build relationships and work with both internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll hold great attention to detail and enjoy problem solving and working as part of a high performing team who are passionate about providing great customer service.

You’ll need:

- Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role, working with 3PL or 4PL providers is ideal
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, an understanding of system integrations and data mapping would be beneficial
- Proficient across computer systems and programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience working across projects and managing project documentation
- Tertiary equivalent education, ideally in Business or Supply Chain disciplines is desired

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.

There’s so much on offer when you’re part of the team. Our flexible and informal work environment helps bring balance between work and home. Then there’s the fun stuff like team discount at Bunnings and other Wesfarmers brands, incentives, discounts from corporate partners (such as private health insurance) and cost price food and drinks at the Bunnings café.
