**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for you to deliver on an important organisational project. This project focuses on the Victoria Police element of the Public Drunkenness Reform (Decriminalisation). This project will change the services that Victorians are provided when drunk. It is part of the broader Victorian Government health led response to public drunkenness reform.

This is a high profile and complex project that requires a high level of flexibility and innovative thinking. You'll be responsible for the communications strategy and change management process. You'll be required to engage with key stakeholders across the organisation and external government agencies. You'll report to a Project Manager (VPS 6) and work within a small team. The project team is responsible for planning, policy and project support for the development and implementation of public drunkenness related reform.

**Your duties will include**:

- Assisting and supporting the preparation of project related change management and communication planning
- Engaging with stakeholders both internal and external to Victoria Police.
- Developing professional communications in line with the communication strategy.
- Providing advice and support within a small team to delivery high quality outputs and implementing public drunkenness related reform.
- Contributing to departmental objectives and priorities.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Strong organisational awareness and ability to present information for varying audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure to produce high quality outputs.
- Ability to work cohesively in a small team.
- Developed skills in change management and communication.
- Excellent self-management for learning and maintaining personal wellbeing.

**Requirements and relevant information**:

- One (1) x full-time, fixed term position available until the 30/6/2024 available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
