About the role
Great opportunity for an experienced educator to join our dedicated and supportive education team.
Working fulltime, your time will be spent educating staff across our Aged Care and Home Care streams. You will develop and deliver ongoing training and education to ensure safe, high quality care is provided to our consumers. Travel is involved with this position.
**Your main duties will include**:
To develop and deliver workshops, training programs and activities that support person centred care, support service delivery requirements and promote skill and capability development.
Ensuring that educational and other strategies reflect clinical evidence based best practice and are aligned with agreed workforce development KPI's. This will be achieved by establishing educational partnerships with internal Calvary key personnel and external stakeholders including managers, clinicians, education staff, suppliers and relevant professional organisations.
To provide assistance in overview of design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of education related to clinical practice in clinical care where requested at Calvary services, and be responsible for the credentialing of Support Workers as required, completing required documentation post training.
About you
Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with high level ICT skills.
Unrestricted drivers licence.
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
Covid-19 vaccination unless assessed exempt.
