The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for a **Group Reservations Agent** to join the team on a **Full or Part-Time** basis.

**What you will do**:

- Handle & coordinate guest requests arise prior to group arrival.
- Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or mail.
- Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type, verify availability of room type and rate.
- Ability to respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests, to ensure proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
- Accommodate and document special requests.
- Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
- Effectively communicate details to the relevant departments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and record customers data for future bookings. Provide relevant information and answers to any questions from potential customers and follow up on their enquiries.
