**About the Role**:
The Manager, Injury Management (IM) is responsible for the provision of direction and corporate leadership in the development and evaluation of departmental IM, systems and departmental objectives to achieve corporate goals. This will require a comprehensive knowledge of the RTW Act and contemporary IR practices.

This role ensures the highly effective and accountable service provision through the implementation of best practice IM strategies and continuous improvement.

The Manager, Injury Management is responsible for implementing and maintaining department wide strategic and operational plans and management strategies for IM services and the provision of highly skilled leadership and management to a large multi-disciplinary team through a culture of performance development.

**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: Appropriate tertiary qualification in Health, Legal, Allied Health, Occupational Rehabilitation and other related disciplines or significant experience in relevant employment.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
MAS3 $125,970 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
