**The Role**
Working directly with clients, as Financial Services Consultant at a Senior Manager/Manager/Senior Consultant level, who will have demonstrated experience or passionate about the following
- Financial statements preparation.
- Financial statements quality assurance.
- Financial statements planning and risk assessment.
- Financial statements audit co-ordination and liaison.
- External reporting requirements, including whole of government reporting.
- Accounting operations activities, including treasury.
- Taxation management and compliance.
- Development and implementation of technical accounting positions, policy, and procedures.
- Contribution to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Your Background and Experience**

You must possess your CA, CPA or equivalent or commit to progressing towards CA, CPA or equivalent.
- High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work in short time frames.
- Financial accounting and operations in the Australian Government sector.
- Preparation of financial statements in the Australian Government sector.
- Australian Government financial management information systems such as SAP or TechOne.
- Analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement through evidence-based approaches.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team, be well organised, be able to meet competing deadlines, and manage ones work with mínimal supervision.
- Managing a small team, including demonstrated experience in developing processes for induction, on-boarding and ongoing support, and guidance.
- Skills in establishing and building working relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders.
- A strong client focus and a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
- The ability to foster an inclusive, positive, and safe workplace culture that encourages creativity and celebrates outcomes.
