**About the company**
Our client is a leading global technology distributor. Operating for over half a century and with a footprint that extends across more than 50 countries across the globe, this Fortune 200 company is experiencing exciting growth in the Australian market, leading to the creation of this new sales leadership opportunity.
**Position & Responsibilities**
Reporting directly through to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) business. You will manage the sales team, currently consisting of three sales professionals based in Sydney and Melbourne. You will also play a hands-on role from a sales and demand creation perspective, being the face of the business and leading sales activities across the Australian market, managing and maintaining existing channel partner relationships and the acquisition of new partners in the region. You will also work closely with key local and global vendor / supplier teams.
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated business development, channel management and/or sales leadership experience in unified communications and collaboration is highly desirable
- Previous experience in distribution will also be advantageous
- Proven & demonstrated track record of success
- Highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability to build and develop tangible long term commercial relationships.
- Highly developed commercial acumen
- Be a self starter and expert collaborator
- Professionalism & integrity
**The Offer**
The successful applicant will receive an attractive remuneration package commensurate with experience, including a base salary of $130,000 - $150,000 + Superannuation, a Car Allowance of $23,000 and a lucrative Incentive structure. You will also have the opportunity to establish yourself with a leading and progressive global Fortune 200 company.
