GenesisCare’s brand new clinic, Campbelltown are looking for an experience Patient Accounts Officer to join the team on a full-time basis.

Working closely with the accounts team and practice management, this integral role is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial administrative tasks across the clinic. You will work in partnership with Patient Services staff and our Clinicians in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services.

More specifically, you will:

- Managing patient accounts across multiple disciplines, including the creation and issue of patient estimates, generation of invoices, receipting and debt collection.
- Effectively communicate the treatment fee structure and attend to patient account enquiries in a friendly and timely manner.
- Providing support to Clinicians by ensuring patients are fully informed of the billing system and the funding mechanisms of Medicare and the relevant private health funds.
- Ensure debtors are managed effectively and in line with the Debtors Management policy & procedure.
- Work Co-operatively within a multidisciplinary team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

- Medical accounts processing skills including knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health funds.
- Demonstrated ability in using clinical administration systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A Flexible and motivated individual, with strong organisational skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and an ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Proven experience to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
