**Your future role**

You'll play a critical role in leading a team of facility coordinators and engineers to maintain the RRSMC facilities and associated project works. This role will be based at **West Melbourne**, however there will be some travel to other locations in VIC.

We’ll look to you for:

- Leading and managing a team of facilities coordinators and facilities engineers.
- Managing the third part contractors, maintenance services providers and utility providers.
- Assessing and implementing process changes to improve the effectiveness of the Facilities Maintenance function.
- Managing the relationship and interface between V/Line, VicTrack and Alstom related the Facilities Maintenance function.
- Identifying areas in the facilities that could be improved or upgraded to improve safety and maintenance practices.
- Notify the Fleet Planning function of upcoming facilities maintenance events that will impact the fleet maintenance activities.
- To manage rostering facilities maintenance function.

- The demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Significant experience in a similar role within Facilities Maintenance.
- Experience developing and implementing procedures, work instructions and maintenance instructions (preferred).
- Engineering degree or relevant trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical.
