**About the team**

We’re getting ready Cross River Rail, Olympics 2032, and significant infrastructure projects has generated exciting and transformative times at Queensland Rail.

The People Capability and Analytics team is focused on ensuring our employees have the skills and capabilities they need to deliver services to our customers and business is important to us.

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced learning and development leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in helping Queensland Rail lift organisational learning as part of our enterprise transformation program.

**About the role**

The Learning Operating Model Initiative Owner will work closely with the learning and training SMEs across our Lines of Business and Centre (including our RTO) to design and deliver the future learning at Queensland Rail.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Lead a 2-3-member project team who will partner with internal business groups to identify the future of learning transformation and delivery at Queensland Rail.
- Align learning strategy to meet overall business strategy and capability needs.
- Engage Learning and Training leads, Unions, Management, and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure that program benefits are realised.
- Create Queensland Rail’s future learning eco-system for contextualised content and fit-for-purpose technology to enhance the learner experience and ground learning in the flow of work.
- Design learning in a streamlined, automated, and efficient way, using data insights to shift the dial on capabilities.

- Enjoys challenging the business to critically evaluate traditional learning and development solutions in order to drive greater organisation outcomes and workforce agility for the future.
- Previous experience in planning, project management and implementing change to drive achievement and program outcomes.
- Exceptional communicator (verbal and written)
