**What is a Hume Empowering Communities Project Officer** **for Hume?**

Duties of a Hume Empowering Communities Project Officer might include but not limited to:

- Manage the SmartyGrants software and process including the development of the ‘Online Application', ‘Assessment', ‘Reporting' forms; and acquittals.
- Coordinate community sessions and capacity building initiatives as required to support the Empowering Communities funding process, including event logistics.
- Assist in the preparation of promotional material, manuals, invitations, letters, draft press releases and advertisements and on-line resources.

**About You**

As the Hume Empowering Communities Project Officer, you will have demonstrable skills and qualifications including but not limited to:

- A degree or diploma in Administration equivalent or relevant experience in administrative work, or work related to grants administration or community development.
- Experience in SmartyGrants software and process including the development of the ‘Online Application', ‘Assessment'and ‘Reporting' forms.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills including ability to prepare routine external and internal correspondence and reports.
- Project management skills and experience.
- Skills in managing time and setting priorities and organising own work to deliver successful Hume Empowering Communities Funding Program.
- Excellent administrative skills including experience using Microsoft office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teamsand PowerPoint.
