**Position: New Business Development Manager (Food and Beverage Manufacturing Equipment)**

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join our client's dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for securing new, high-value clients nationwide within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. Your primary focus will be on businesses involved in food processing, packaging, and related operations, who require specialized industrial equipment to enhance their productivity and efficiency.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's business success while shaping the future of the food and beverage manufacturing sector.

Some perspective, this role sits outside (and above) their state based BDM network. It is specifically tailored to suit someone who has the experience and contacts to enable them to land the big fish

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and target potential high value clients within the food and beverage manufacturing industry, with a specific emphasis on businesses engaged in food processing, packaging, and related operations.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in prospective client organizations.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and areas for competitive advantage.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, effectively showcasing the unique value proposition of our client's industrial equipment.
- Negotiate contract terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements, and successfully close deals with new clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and successful implementation of new client accounts.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record in new business development, preferably within the food and beverage manufacturing industry or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage manufacturing sector, including food processing, packaging, and related operations.
- Strong network and connections within the food and beverage manufacturing industry, with a focus on acquiring high-value clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or surpass sales targets and drive tangible results.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrive in a competitive sales environment.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
