**About the facility**

The Andrew Love Centre (ALCC) is a comprehensive cancer centre that has provided expert care to those affected by cancer in Geelong and southwest Victoria in a supportive and caring environment since 1992. Our service gives adults living in Barwon South West region access to world class cancer treatment. Based in Geelong, we have state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and highly skilled health professionals who provide personalised treatment and care.

**About the role**

As the successful applicant your primary objective is to provide confidential administrative support to Cancer Services working within Barwon Health.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

- Receiving visitors to the centre and directing them to appropriate locations
- Answering telephones and directing calls appropriately
- Making appointments - internally and externally
- Registering all new patients onto the Hospital computer system and on the Cancer Services computer system
- Booking transport, interpreter services, accommodation, as required
- Updating of statistics for clinics by updating of boo9king screens for patients who attend, cancel
- Admitting and discharging of patients
