**YOUR NEW JOB**
As the Safety Manager, you will be accountable for engaging, interacting, inspiring, and influencing a safety culture for 200 employees. This is a
**hands-on face to face, onsite role**. With already established robust systems, you will encourage a culture of safety within the workplace and collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct audits and inspections, and provide training and guidance to employees to maintain a safe working environment.
Other duties include:
- Conduct regular audits and inspections on sites, equipment, and processes to identify potential safety/risk hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Foster a safety-conscious culture by promoting awareness, providing guidance, and recognizing and rewarding safe behaviours.
- Maintain accurate records of audits and corrective actions and safety-related documentation.
- Actively drive down Workplace Health and Safety incidents, through proactive management and investigation of workplace incidents and putting measures in place to eliminate risks.
- Advise Managers in relation to safety and injury management legislation to ensure that all measures being taken are done so in a compliant and cohesive manner.

- Your experience within heavy industry world speaks wonders and you must be passionate and understand the industry, be able to speak with authority when issues come up.
- Diploma in OH&S or equivalent.
- 3-5 years' work experience in Health & Safety systems Risk management or similar experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OHS legislation (Acts, Regulations & Code of Practice)
