icare is seeking a Client Services Officer to coordinate medical examinations for Dust Diseases Care clients with providers in an efficient manner
- 24 Month Fixed Term Contract with a 35 hour working week
- 17.5% annual leave loading and flex leave

**About the Role**

In this role you will coordinate medical examinations for Dust Diseases Care (DDC) clients with various providers in an efficient and timely manner. You will use analytical skills to interpret medical information and provide quality, consistent and relevant data to support the Medical Assessment Panel decisions.

Your focus will be to coordinate medical examinations effectively and efficiently using screening providers and Lung Screening services to meet the needs of our clients. You will also case manage matters which may impact on the determination of Clients’ medical condition.

**Duties**

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Client Services Officer **you will be:

- Coordinate lung screen visits and liaise with local councils and business chambers to locate and secure the most suitable facilities for Lung Screen services.
- Liaise and collaborate with clients, their families, employers and multiple jurisdictions / medical service providers to obtain medical information and records in accordance with the privacy and freedom of information procedures.
- Maintain up to date information to enable decisions about appropriate next steps, complying with systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible to the wider team.
- Verify invoices for payment, ensuring agency timeframes, processes, entitlements, policy and delegations are complied with.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of services, including recommending changes to processes, policies and procedures. Engage with icare and DDC Strategic Initiatives.
- Assist the Lung Screen Clinic when required, meet and greet customers and direct them to information about icare’s services

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent communication skills - ability to build rapport and communicate complex information and create and nurture effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
- A broad range of experience in client service roles.
- Experience in an administrative role with an in depth understanding of medical terminology
